G37 - official specs (ALL COLOR PICS)
#17
There was a discussion a while back regarding the ipod input mentioned on the infiniti spec website. Was it simply 1) line-in or 2)an actual ipod interface allowing you to control ipod via radio or steering wheel. If you look closely at the spec above in the prem. package spec it states: digital audio link - ipod interface.
thoughts? I hold my assumption that it is #2 only because the 07 sedan (which is near identical to the g37 interior) doesnt have that interface.. or am i wrong?

Pricing Guess
OK - I just built an 07 coupe on the web site, and tried to see where it would land. This is pure speculation, I have no idea if this is equal in terms of package contents, pricing per package, but assuming a 5% and then a 7% jump in list, here goes:
2007 Infiniti G35 Coupe 6MT
Laser Red - What else???
Base MSRP* $34,050.00
Exterior Color - Laser Red Interior Color and Trim Wheat Leather / Aluminum
Packages and Options
Premium Package $2,850.00
Aero Package $550.00 (this methinks would be the added spoiler option)
Infiniti Navigation System $1,800.00
Configured MSRP* $39,250.00
Destination and Handling $700.00
Total MSRP* $39,950.00
(for the rise in price I will take out the Dest. charge)
Times 5% = 1,962 + 39,950 = $41,912
Times 7% = 2,747 + 39,950 = $42,697
'07 SEDAN GUYS - What did the jump equal in the new sedan, was it 5 to 7 %? If so, I wonder if this is at all a close calculation, or am i missing something here other then logic...?
This is quickly approaching 335 territory, but not fully loaded and the Bimmer is still very conservative looking, borderline dull, even with the Nav package's extra hump in the dash. Let the second (third?) guessing commence.....

Damn, is it me or does the red still look very dark (as dark as LR). I was hoping for something way more lighter. I'll wait to see the colour in person before making my decision.
EDIT #1. Forget it, I just saw the other thread and it does look lighter. I like it
EDIT #2. I actually prefer the Sport bumper over the Base one. The later looks exactly like the 1st gen which I would hate for my car to be confused with. No offence to the 1 gen owner

At least the nonsport front end doesn't look like a Toyota Solara.

Here are some things I noticed that hopefully people here with newer year G's can clarify:
1. What is steering wheel and exterior rearview mirror position synchronization with movement of driver's seat (under premium package)?
2. Under the NAV system, it says Lane guidance. Do the 07 sedans have that? I would think that would be an annoying feature if it's what I'm thinking (beeping sound if you leave the lane without signaling).
3. Where did the back-up camera go? The sedan has it in the Tech package, and I thought the new G37 had it in the NAV package. It doesn't seem to be listed. EDIT: Just noticed it listed on the 1st page.
4. No wood on the 6MT. That sucks. I think the wood looks nice.
