I'll be choked if the Nav package price remains the same after this.
... add collapsible pedals to the tech package.

Agreed, I think this makes much more sense. Glad the rear view cam isn't dependent on the NavSystem -- Im hoping this is one DIY feature I can somehow add to the basic premium package ...

brian P. is my salesman.. and Bob W is the sales mgr. He just replied back with the following to my question regarding camera and 4was.

The rear view camera has always been part of the Technology package and the initial build list does show WAS as an option with premium and above option groups. I can not imagine it would be delayed as it is already provided on the Sedan which is the same chasis.
I can't say for certain who has the latest info.. either my dealership is behind the curve and hasnt been notified yet.. or...

.. for anyone concerned about this.. just give your dealership a buzz.. tell them what you've heard and confirm.

What are collapsible pedals?

I'm not sure how it effects our laser jamming, but I know if your ICC is turned on, V1 owners will get false readings.

I rather let you guys know who have ordered (with and without me) before any other confusion shall arise prior to picking up your 2008 G37 Coupe in August.

Thanks.
Is the backup camera not available for the nav package of now? or is this a permanent decision? If it is permanent i am a little upset. I was looking forward to it.

Ah, gotchya. That's good. Not sure how that fits in with Tech, but sure. Thanks!

I am not sure if YOUR V1 will pick up YOUR laser. Really not sure, since I don't have a V1. Either find an 07 owner with both, or you'll find out.

I'll hafta ask a sedan owner if i can either REMOVE the ICC or at least disable it all together yet still use cruise controll.

I think if i install a laser jammer head, it will not only jam a LEO's lidar gun but also will jam the laser from the reflection of the ICC

Oh, how I wanted a backup camera.....just to neat. Come on Infiniti, LEXUS offers it with THEIR Nav units...

If possible, please clarify: the camera will ONLY be ordered with the Tech package, period? Or will it be offered with the Nav after release when supplies exist? Thanks...

ICC can always be turned off (as mine would be), so V1 interference would not happen when off. Even though the beam is facing forward and not at the V1 antenna, would have to call V1 or just try and see what happens.

And the Navi package on the IS350 costs $4k. You can get both the Navi package AND the Tech package on the G Sedan for $3200.

I would put money on the rearview camera being a permanent fixture in the Tech package like the Sedan.

OK....I'll get the tech package also. Heck, why not. I have found that providing the car is sound, it small things like the tech package just makes the ownership experience a bit more pleasant.

Special thanks to Da Mayor for this info.
