I received a letter from Infiniti today on a few production issues w/ the vendors -- Rear Active Steer WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE until noted and the Rearview Monitor will be only available w/ the Technology Package, not in the Navigation package.

Infiniti has changed our orders on a few vehicles due to the suppliers not being able to adapt their parts into the vehicles we ordered nationwide.

I rather let you guys know who have ordered (with and without me) before any other confusion shall arise prior to picking up your 2008 G37 Coupe in August.

thanks for the update. i think for most the 4was may be a non-issue (dont think many are ordering it).. though the backup camera may not make a few Nav only orders happy

i sent in an email to the guy who orders cars at my dealer just to confirm as well.

that's exactly why i ordered two w/o tech. i guess i'll just have to deal. both dealerships have already confirmed their order of my car(s)

Ah yea, i didn't get the Tech package... darn.
Looks like i'll have to live with the ICC laser on the front if i want a backup camera. Ah well.... AFS headlights would be pretty awesome.

I can see the delay in getting my coupe now. =(

what else is in the tech package? and how much more is it?

 

This really doesn't surprise me though. With the 07 Sedan, the rear view camera is part of the Tech Package.........and it seemed odd to me when I read Infiniti was including it with the Navi package on the G37. It makes sense to keep things consistent across both models.

 

Tech package includes the active headlights and intelligent cruise control, I think. Maybe around $1,500? This is from the top of my head.

I'll be choked if the Nav package price remains the same after this.
