Specifics on sound can no way be determined from such a simple short video. I wanna hear the exhaust in person...but im sure it has retained its sickness, and can only sound better with the new motor, new dual intake, new true dual exhaust, new equal length tube headers...sick....

The 2007 G35 Sedan seems to prove that wrong...

I know videos can only tell so much, but it sounds as if it still has that cool humming sound the G has always had.

Do you think that the exhaust on the G37 will be more aggressive/sexy than the 335i coupe?

I bet it will .. IMO i didnt like the sound of the 335i , the 335 sounds a bit like the r32 to me .. The g35 is the best v6 sound i ever heard

i think the dyno rollers and the room its in are not letting us hear the ture exhaust note, i think itll be different once we start getting clips of fly bys in the streets.

If it sounds like the G35, then yes. The G35 already sounds more aggresive/sporty than the 335i, although it doesnt have the acceleration to match the 335i

I leave in AZ. I was driving into Tempe and I saw one with Michigan manufacturer plates. I followed it for awhile. The exhaust sounds distinctly VQ, but it does sound slightly more "raspy", more stout and aggressive. I think you all will like it. The guy driving it never did punch it so not 100% sure how it sounds WOT. Sounded more "exotic-ish" than the current G coupe, or even G sedan.

Wow, after writing this I realise it is pretty damn difficult to describe sounds....

Was it the silver car? When I saw this car in Tempe the driver went WOT in 1st & 2nd and it pretty much sounded like the 03-04 coupe.

I can't wait until an aftermarket exhaust comes out and see what kind of gains on the 3.7

I bet hardly any gains. The 37's exhaust is actually a full true dual exhaust. This new motor is as far as its gonna go. Its very highly tuned from the factory. The only way I see this motor improving ONE final notch, is either the addition of FI, or Direct Injection from the factory....I honestly think intakes and exhaust will do nothing but create sound for this car. A lightened flywheel would possibly free up some HP...
