Do you guys think that Infiniti is keeping that beautiful G35 coupe exhaust sound for the G37? Or maybe a little louder?! Maybe quieter?

From the dyno video, it sounds absolutely amazing. Can't wait until August.

 

The tone is pretty much a calling card for the G now, so it's a safe bet that it's still engineered in. I recall reading somewhere (credible) that the new exhaust is a bit more free-flowing than that on the G35. Not sure on specifics.

As others have said, it does sound good on the dyno(!)... ...and I'm used to hearing my G singing through headers and hi-flow cats.

 

Absolutely! As soon as I hear that signature sound, I know its one of three vehicles...G, Z, or FX.

 

there's a guy who said he saw it being tested somewhere in TX. he said it sounded louder

I wonder how the axle-back would sound on a 03 g35

Wow that exhaust sound always makes me smile...

 

Sounds better than the G35 to me.

 

Not sure if you're mixing the sound of the exhaust with the rollers of the dyno, because it sounds exactly the same as the G35 Coupe to me.
