G37 First Release?

I put down my deposit on a black/black, journey (fully loaded) G37 and the salesman said that it is to be coming in late July. I remember reading about G37s possibly coming out in July from somewhere on the forums. I really hope it's true!

I think we will be lucky to get them at the end of August.

It is possible that yours could come in late July. I know that some G35 sedan owners had their '07 come in before the official release date. I ordered mine and I was told the middle of August, so if yours comes in July, that is awesome!!

I want to wait till Christmass. Dealers will probably want to give extra incentives around Christmass when people usually spend their money in the mall.

I was told that Infiniti did not allow custom orders for the 8/21 date. Each Dealer will just be given a maximum of 3 cars on that date, and those cars will be determined by Infiniti. I wouldn't expect to see too many of this initial batch to be under $40K since they will undoubtedly be loaded with options to maximize Infiniti and Dealer profit.

No doubt that there will be December incentives but I doubt if you will find any G37s lingering on Dealers' lots to enable you to take advantage of the incentive. I expect demand to be very heavy and supply to be tight for about the first 12 months after the G37 release date. Moreover, just wait until the magazines' G37 writeups are released, and they will undoubtedly be all very positive. This will really drive up demand. So if you want a discount, patience will be key.

Normally you would be right, but Infiniti made an exception for this roll out. I was lucky enough to be number 3 on the waiting list and I got to spec out my G as I wanted it.

my dealerships is getting a lot more than 3 new G37s with the long list of preorders. aug 21st is still the release. the whole country only has less than 100 G37s for the first allocation
