Today around 11:15am I saw a red G37. I turn around to follow and have a look and notice a silver 335 with Michigan plates following the G37 with manufacturer plates.
So it could be magazine testers or Infiniti is still possibly doing some final comparisons between its direct competition? We shall see.

I caught these pictures in early 2002 of the Maxima on the 110 freeway (near 405). http://www.brianv.net/newmaxima/
Got $1700 for selling those pictures to magazines. At the time no one had seen so much as a glimpse of anything that looked like a Maxima, not even that trash bag wrapped stuff we often see first.
Two weeks later caught the EVO in Irvine on the 405:

Only made a few hundred for that.

There was a lot of talk about these pictures on freshalloy and maxima.org. I heard from this one guy that was a sales person at a Nissan dealer in the midwest that the manager of his dealer said that they got super busted for taking it out in the middle of the afternoon without disguise, etc. I don't know how he would've heard it so I pretty much thought it was BS.
Fortunately I had a friend in the car to take pictures while I drove. At the time I was in my 97 Supercharged Maxima so I think they were all a little shocked that they couldn't accelerate away from us.
