SeismicGuy, I am in the same boat as you on deciding btw 335 coupe and G37. The A5 was in the mix, but last I heard the S5 will be out first in Nov, then A5 in 2008 so scratch that. When I traded in my 04 coupe this past sept it was so I could get first crack at G37 WITH the VPP. This is what I told the salesman in the first place, and he knows it whenever he calls me for updates.

With that being said, if I load up the options on the G37, but can get a similarily equipped 335 for a few grand more, I will definitely throw it in their face (BNW dealership is a block down the street).

 

That's why it is so hard to figure out how it will end at this time. There a lot of "ifs" that might happen. If the G37s gets priced by dealers up into the 335i territory, and if, at the same time, the 335i price softens a bit, and if I happen to stumble into a BMW dealer with a car on the lot that he is pushing out for month-end or some other reason, then maybe in a weak moment I would lean towards the 335i. In other words for me, there would have to be a lot of ifs that go just right to end up with the BMW and a lot less ifs to end up with the G37.

 

Infiniti of Novi?! I'm not even 40 miles away from there. I would have gone! And I know Nissan / Infiniti have no problems selling directly to Canadians ... I want to see this car in person before I make a final decision on whether to pick one up or not.
