I'd say just register g37driver.com and alias it back over as a redirect to g35driver.com - but it looks like nicoclub.com is already doing exactly that.

 

This is a specifically G35 forum, not a G37 forum. The future of G35driver will be what it is right now, just hopefully improved.

Now this site is nice & good enough to allow most Infiniti vehicles in its discussion. So im sure G35driver.com will have its place for the G37 too, especially since its still a G

That's pretty f'd up, if they had any honor the nicoclub guys wiuld have let g35driver have the url. Those guys at nico need their asses kicked.

 

G37 to G35?? That doesn't make any sense considering that the name is after the engine. G37 represents the next generation anyways. I think it would be nice if g35driver.com changed to MyG.com (although that sounds really stupid and am just using the idea that the IS people did) or Gdriver.com or whatever is a good name. If it does stay g35driver.com or we G37 guys get a whole new site... I don't mind. I have a good feeling that the site name is going to change eventually because when the G35 sedan gets the 3.7 liter engine for '09 (or at least that's what's expected to happen), then the g35driver.com will only pertain to the older generation.

 

The G37 will always have a place here on the forum. As the evolution of the G evolves, this will be more of a G forum than a specific G35 forum. I am sure the forum will grow and change along with Infiniti's lineup in the future. Just my opinion of course.

Come to think of it, this site (in many years from now) might go down as a classic G35 enthusiast forum just as I believe the G35 will become a classic vehicle in the Infiniti line up. Infiniti owes everything to the G, which I believe catapulted Infiniti into success in 2002.

We have a strong base... why not just shoot high and make it an unofficial infinitiforums.com type of website like bimmerforums.com. Just a thought.

Back on track, I have not been back to G37 for weeks now, it is dead and quite as a mouse, and also they simply refuse to put up an actual G37 in the banner, they are too stuck on the concept to change. WHY have a site called G37 if you only put the concept in the banner??? This site will be around for a long time.
