Future of g35driver.com now that g37 will be out.
Future of g35driver.com now that g37 will be out.
So, now that the g37 will be the basis for sports coupe for infiniti, what happens to g35driver.com? I mainly bring this up because I'm solidifying the decision to get a g37 over bmw's rival based on looks and that nagging $10k discrepency. Then thinking that my brother has a Chicago Club3g.com sticker and I would want to represent too. But no way I'm putting a g35driver on a g37. It just seems off.
So, my question is, what becomes of this forum? Will it die as bmw's e36 forum died when the e46 came out? BMW has bimmerforums.com, which is huge, and somehting I was active in for the past 7 years, but I can't find something of that magnitude with infiniti. Nico forums? but that's nissan.
Sorry if this touches nerves, but it's been on my mind ever since I joined here not so long ago, hope this isn't a repost as I searched and couldn't find anything.

With in the range of 50K members I doubt very seriously that this site will die. Also, if you missed it there are sections for basically all of the Infiniti models with active members. As for putting a sticker on the car, that would obviously be your choice but this site isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
Hey Cheryl, I hope you're right. It just seems appropriate that now that the forum is expanding beyond the g35 to have a new url. I was curious and every variation I could think of for infiniti forum club is taken. =\ I'm just curious what will happen because it will be sad to see this forum take the plunge. BTW, the bmw e36 forums had about 50k as well and everyone migrated to bimmerforums. I refuse to make nicoforums my home. People here seem much more friendlier.

this site will have no problem staying running. look at LS1Tech.com, mainly a Camaro/Firebird (which haven't been made since 02) site , seems to get bigger every year.

There will still be a G35- just the Sedan. And ther ewill be plenty of G35 coupe drivers as well who will keep the original forums active. But yeah I expect that this will be the main stomping ground for future G37 drivers as well. I plan to stick around.
yeah i think we should change the name to gdriver or something like that, just to accomodate and the upcoming model without forgetting about the 1st gen. and i'll be here even after i get my next car which is unlikely to be a nissan or infinti
