Disappointed Poll

Based on some posters suggestions, I decided to create a poll. Yes, I know it's early and the vast majority of us haven't seen the G37 in person, much less have we had the opportunity to test drive one, but based on what you've read up to this point what do you think?

I am disappointed at Infiniti - I keep getting in the mail the same ^#&!! little brochure! Got another one today! What? They got tons of these from NYAS that they have to get rid of?

Infiniti marketing can use some improvements.

I think that the G37 is a terrific value for what it offers: good performance in a beautiful package, but it's not the car for me. Nevertheless, I believe the G37 will do quite well when it's offered but I won't be surprised if Dealers will begin discounting them before the end of the year. In other words I don't believe that the G37 will have anywhere near the impact that the G35 had in the market place. Infiniti shocked the world with the G35 since it was unlike anything that it offered before. When I first heard about it, I thought that it was nothing but an updated version of the G20.

How about the 'Its still too early to tell" option?

.

Doesn't still undecided cover that choice?

i voted disappointed. not because the car is not good or anything. It's just that this car could have been easily the best coupe out there.
It's obviously a gorgeous looking car (with the right rims, right drop, right colors). i admit it has probably the best interior in it's class, and i really think it's superior to IS and bmw. Infiniti did a great job, until someone decided to throw that dead hooker body in the trunk.
this made the car not so perfect.

I chose to go with an uglier looking car, with an uglier interior but with better performance. yes ladies and gentlemengs i have placed an order for a 335i coupe this afternoon. wish me luck.
i hope you all enjoy your G's. they are great cars.
i'll stick around, my bimmer will arrive in september.

Still a little disappointed bc i think they could have been a little better performance wise since it is a coupe which most the time resembles sport and speed..

but on the other hand the new body and interior does look very improved

once agian i was hoping for better performance

congrats on your 335i.. what color n packages.. what was your total cost? lease or finance?

you better have some pictures upp..

and i agree on what i quoted with the better performance i think i would also go with the bimmer bc of its performance bc coupe is for speed/ sport their shouldnt be much luxury in a sports coupe.. these 07 sedans i see all over the place already i wouldent waant that to happen if i order the g37

so when time comes and i have enough money i think i would go with the 335i

i have not gotten the car yet, i just placed the order to be built in July and delivered by September. but i'll have pictures. hanging around a G's forum is much cooler than bimmer ones man. people here are humble lol

it's Montego Blue (the one they use on their website, or freeway ad's) black interior (wanted the saddle brown but everybody talked me out of it) with gray wood. it's gonna have sports package, steptronic (cant do MT anymore) with paddle shifters, navigation (i hate the retarded iDrive), premium package, and comfort package (you pay for that on top of prem. package... retarded even altima has that standard). It's going to cost 48k, im going to lease it. havent negotiated lease terms yet, but they're in the works.
I made sure im covered in terms of oil cooler for the turbo, and the fuel pump. so that's all good!

I'm in the same boat as Mantis... Just decided a bit earlier than he did

I went with Sparking Graphite:

Got the 6MT w/ Sport Package. Good luck with your decision, they are both beautiful cars! In fact, I'm looking forward to finding someone with a G37 to photo both cars together.
