Infiniti was concerned with emissions and mpg. I think that later on they will just increase the output of the 3.7 liter engine. If they add that into the G37, then it would be called G38 (which doesn't make sense).

Whoa... nice!
I know with many car companies when a model is nearing the end of its run they give sales a boost with some sort of special edition -- not sure if this is the case here.

I'd love to see a "G37 RS" with this engine. Damn!

From the video link: "but is the 380RS any good? We will have to disappoint you even though it looks great the performance figures are similar to the ones of the regular 350Z."

Looks like a bad *** car to me. Funny how the driver during the later part of the video was wearing a ralliart shirt. :P

Its only available in Japan for the Z. The Z here in the U.S is expected to have the same VQ37VHR

I think first priority is to loose weight. Adding more power is easy.

I think the new 09 Z will receive the VQ37VHR but with direct injection into the mix, not only adding power, but increasing MPG, mark my words fellas...

I failed to see the humor. By the way, I don't believe in making humor at the expenses of other physical short-coming.
