It might just be that there are no photos of black but most people know what OB looks like. Blue Slate does look good on the G37 so I won't be surprised if we see them more often.

Amethyst Graphite and Platinum Graphite are neck-and-neck. There's still some confusion between these two colors so that may change. Sample size for poll is also small, so may not be accurate.
the picture of the dark gray not sure what color it is but when you click the link and scroll down and there talking about LEDS that color looks very nice and clean but thats the only nice and clean pic that i found for that color

The color code for Platinum Graphite listed in the G37 ordering guide is K51 (I'll have to find the link again), same as 2007 G35 sedan.

Here's a link to media share of Platinum Graphite G35 sedan:

Looks the same.

I think we've been assuming that the photos from Circle Infiniti were Amethyst Graphite, but he doesn't actually say so in that thread. It may have been Platinum Graphite all along. Hope people didn't change to Amethyst only to find out they have something purple on their driveway .

Yes but someone asks the guy in the thread of the color looks purple and he responds to that, so you can assume from that response that this is the AG color.

Here's a link to that thread with the ordering info I mentioned earlier:
https://g35driver.com/forums/g37-coupe-v36-2008/167985-exclusive-dealer-only-g37-goodies.html
The color codes are likely accurate but the color palette on that one has me rubbing my eyes once more (btw, I wouldn't trust that PDF palette). Either those two colors are so close or we've yet to see Amethyst Graphite. Both Circle Infiniti and the color codes are decent leads but not definitive.

Anyway, my eyes are going ga-ga looking through all those photos. I'm gonna just wait and see, preferably in person. Hint to dealers, deposit if we can see them in person . Invite us for preview!

I get the feeling I should go with MissLydia's intuition. Now if only we could find out which dealer she has hers coming in ... heh heh ... for sneak preview .

Damn!
Now I'm gonna have a problem deciding between OB (first choice) and Blue Slate (got my attention from the pics on this thread).
I guess I'll have to see both in person.
IMO, the G37's *** looks great when you're right behind it. It's the rear-corner pics that shows off the G37's *** curves - which I don't like.
Too much junk in the trunk i guess.

What irritates me the most about the sport bumper is that the side grills below the headlights are cosmetics.

From the non-sport bumper pics, looks like the outer half of the lower grills are cosmetic as well.

What is up with that !!!

I think that all those pics are LP and the darker ones are PG. There are barely any pics of AG floating anywhere. But I ordered it and have been keeping my eyes open for anything. Also, those pics might appear pinkish or purplelish because of what is around it. Here are some pics of AG, not sure if they are photoshopped but they look pretty damn close to what I am expecting.

I think the first one was a photoshop from the original concept artwork. The second is also a photoshop based on the first leaked photos, see thumbie.

Yeah I remember seeing that one. I still wonder what it will look like in person. I dont think anyone has seen a real AG, If so, I wish someone would post. But the ones posted at the beginning of the topic appear PG & LP.

I noticed some people are still wondering about this color so I assume not everyone is lucky to have seen it in person yet. Here's an update.

I recently saw the Amethyst Graphite in person (to make sure, I checked the window sticker and it indicated paint code K57). I have to say that the pictures from Autospies is indicative of this color. There was a Platinum Graphite 2007 G35 sedan (paint code K51) next to it and they do look alike but you can see a difference.

Under sunlight with the sun setting, it looked very much like the pics from InfinitiMichael, not really purple but different from Platinum Graphite (PG). I have to go back to see it under direct sunlight to see if the purple really comes out.

To the casual eye under certain lighting, it can look almost identical to Platinum Graphite. For example, under a streetlamp and looking from the front I noticed the "purplish" (not really purple) hue but when I walked to the back I had a hard time telling it apart from the PG.

These two colors are indeed so close that I recommend people see it in person under different lighting. I would feel bad if someone made a purchase only on pictures alone because you may be disappointed if you don't like that look. It is a very nice color IMHO. I have a feeling this color can be killer under low light (less than streetlamp i.e. dimly lit garage) because it seems darker than the PG at night.

I have to go back and check with more light and less light (ima have to shoot out that streetlamp) . Wish I could camp out at the dealer .
