1st test drive

I just test drove a black Journey with all options options except it didn't have Wood trim. I couldn't verify the 4WAS though. It had Premium, Sports, Technology, Splash guards, Trunk mat/net and rear spoiler. My dealer called me arond 5 PM and that the car would be here tonight and tomorrow but will be away until Friday.

When I got there it looked like it had just come off the truck with only 18 miles on it. Even though it was automatic I tood their offer to test drive it around the block. The car seemed pretty quiet but I could hear the G exhaust noise in the background. Fastest I got was aorund 65mph in about 5 Mississippi and felt like it was in 3rd or 4th with plenty of power left to go but had to break for the light.

I'm thinking to go back there at lunch time tomorrow with my Nikon D70. If I do I'll post some pics. Sorry, not much of a review but the car looked pretty damn good in black.

you suck. I talked to my dealership and they said that they are not going to let anyone test drive it. I hate my dealership. I wish I didnt have to buy my car there but they are the closest within 100 miles.

Yep mine is not letting anyone test drive either. In fact they are taking the 37 from the Infiniti dealership and locking it up in a garage at another affiliate dealership until the official 16th unveiling.

I'll be test driving tonight! I spoke the my dealer and got the VIN# on my order...he said it's slated for the August 21st delivery but they're still hoping it will be a few days earlier.

Has anyone who pre-ordered their G37 been given a price? How can you be sure the prices wont be too high (leasers)?

When my salesman gave me the VIN# he also quoted MSRP based on infinitinews.com. I'm buying so I haven't had a lease discussion.

it's Infiniti's regulations that no test drives on the G37's yet but thanks for the great news of them driving the car.

Yeah my dealer told me that no one was allowed to test drive either because they didnt own the car. They said it belonged to a place in Los Angelas, where the sticker on the car said.

Got a price from my dealer, west houston infiniti. Mine is pretty well loaded and MSRP is just shy of $45k. Ive got to see it in person to decide at the price, given the mixed views of forum members who have seen it.
