Looks like mine should be here this week as well. In the mean time I went to get gas with my friend at Fields and drove through the forest preserve in the vibrant red G they have. I was blown away with the ride, sound, fit(I'm 6'-3") luxury, Nav, etc. The seats are incredible and the car feels much lighter than it's weight would imply. The torque and pull at the low end is surprising considering what I have been reading, and it just keep pulling hard. Other than being so excited and forgetting to shift while in Sport Mode I am in awe of this car. It also looks huge in person..., wide, low and mean.

I'm about as ready as anyone can be to drive this one out of the dealership.

that is real serious bat, you aren't playing any games are you lol. Cant wait to see what they will look like, the ones you have for the g35 are bada$$ and im sure they will be the same for the new coupe

 

that's also because all of us here are car freaks lol. I know alot of people who don't know either and they say the same thing, i love it though

 

that is so true, samething happen to me. they thought i was talkin about the G35

 

some of my friends didn't know what a g37 was either. lol

 

I walked by a tint shop yesterday in Virginia and asked how much it would be to tint a 2 door coupe. They asked, "what kind?" I said, "G37." They all looked at each other and one of them said, "is that like a G35?" I didn't feel like explaining so I just said yes. There was a sharp new G35S (sedan) being tinted while all this was happening.

 

lol. Once the G37 actually gets out, it will be the new great thing on the block.

 

Our next delivery isn't due until September 12th. They tell me it's a "BOY!"

I talked to my salesman on Thursday last week and he said my car was at port and should be arriving in Chicago this coming week. I was originally told Sept 7 as the arrival date.

 

Woohoo! That's always good news. My salesman still insists on August 21st, so I'm really hoping to get a phone call from him 2 days from now. I'm going to be so excited in school. lol If your car is at port... then I should be getting it in about 2 days since Riverside is only an hour away. I'm so excited!

 

yep.. i believe many of us will get the call this week. i expect infiniti will update their site this evening or tommorow am with new content.. thus removing the g35 coupe from the site.. RIP! we should see a new build your g37 option as well.
