oh well, i'll be purchasing the G myself...it's actually going to be my first car purchase under my own name....i'm 25 and been out of school for over a yr and been working ever since so time to treat myself...actually bought my mom a car right after school...got her a '06 camry last yr but under her name tho for the better interest rates

Oh erm... that's the Infiniti "trademark" navigation in which the viewing angle of the navigation map is at a slant and not directly above where everything is 2D. I believe Infiniti first came out with the "Birdview" which has a 3D perspective on things. You have to see it in photos, videos, or in person to actually get a good feel on it.

Are you pleased with the 335i? i to had the choice between the 335i and g37 but went with the g37.

What you say reminds me of that show "Sweet Sixteen" on MTV. What a bunch of spoiled brats some, if not all of them, are.

Oh that show is for the most part, all scripted. A lot of the drama is acted and a lot of the cars are actually not their cars.

It makes sense that it's scripted because for the most part, each episode seems to have the same recipe. I'm surprised about the cars not being theirs though. Oh and you better post pics of your car when you get it.

mmmm...my rents aren't rich but they can hold their own. I'm very much glad that they didn't pay for my cars, school etc...They helped me start a business and for that I'm very grateful but they've never offered to shell out the dough for things that I should be working for. There isn't any thing like working your *ss off and getting rewarded in the end. It is the single greatest feeling in the world. So more power to you, MaximaPower. Do definitely enjoy your G...you deserve it.

thanks N50.....u're right there's nothing like working ur *ss off...lol..i just pulled a double fri afternoon and got off sat morning then back at work again sat night on top of my regular mon-fri....doing it again this week...but after it's over, it sure does feel good

I extremely happy with the 335i. It's an absolute pleasure to drive. The low end torque is a blast and with an inexpensive turbo tuner it really flies. I traded in my G35coupe6MT for it. But the G37 sounds like a great car and I'm sure I would have been happy with it as well. Different rides, but both top notch...

hahah I asked my dad (knowing they can't afford it) for a car and he just laughed in my face and walked away. But then I saved up and got an RSX in his name, but I'm paying for it. He helped out as a birthday present, but it doesn't matter because he knew once I graduated college I'd be able to afford any car I want (which I can.. almost lol), and that's what I'm doing, not to mention paying him back for alot of what I owe them.

I mean really. Kids are a losing proposition, parents pay for everything for us. The last thing parents should be paying for is a 40k+ car for a 17 year old kid who has been driving for a YEAR. Who is most likely going to crash the car because of driving it stupidly. There are hundreds of cars that would be suited better for a 17 year old kid.

I'd love to be able to afford those things, and even if I could, I would NEVER buy my kid a 40k car. If he wants it that bad, save up and buy it yourself. Maybe I'd match what you saved... otherwise F THAT.

I'm buying my G37 with my own money. Graduated with a BS in CS in June, I already paid off all my school loans and I have a full-time job (I'm at work right now actually...lol). FYI, I'm 22, turning 23 in November.

Im similiar to yimbie but he is a year ahead of me. My father told me he would double what i would come up with for a downpayment on any car i choose ( well afford). We are yet to come sort out the monthly payment which might be half/half or me paying all, but he pays all the interest, well i dont know we are yet to discuss that im only 16. In ny you recieve your license once you pass ur road test and become 17. I become 17 in december actually the 1st so i hope i would have my car by then. Either 335i or g37 yet to decide maybe even a5 if realesed.

I like your choices yimbie that you stated above g37 350 or c350.. my girlfriend has the 300 or c350 on the way so wont be needing that, the is350 well the IS class in general about 4-5 of my friends are already to buy it. G37 prob looking to be my best choice.
