I would totally buy this is a heart beat. I have an 07 G35 sedan. I really want this to happen...

+1 I've been trying to get this for a while and tho a carbon fiber option from carbon signal automotive is available to purchase though CZP I'm not interested because only a carbon fiber option is available. I need this for 08g35xs sedan, fiber glass model without camera option but only trunk release option. I'll take the camera option as a last choice, I guess I can always buy the oem camera and just fit it there and run wires if I want to get a module to connect camera in the future. Carbon fiber model that's available is too expensive for me to buy because I'm going to paint it same color as my car and it would be a waste for me to spend that extra money.

 

Wait, a whole trunk? It looks fantastic but what about a top view? Will it still have the hideous factory contour that follows the built-in chrome "lip", essentially the contour that kind of ruins the G37 for me? Kind of looks like you are turning it into something more like the G35 trunk, which was just perfect (well, that entire back end was just perfect). I don't own a G37, but, this might actually convince me to step up to one....damn I hate that contour makes the G37 look like the Altima Coupe

 

As long as you guys do a better job than the one I bought from AutoKitsX (the one that's in the pictures). The fit was great on the driver side but the passenger side was a different story. I lowered the trunk as much as possible and I still had a gap so big I could fit my finger between the trunk lid and taillight (right where the trunk curves up towards the top of the tail light). $800 is now just sitting in my shed...

 

You try running it without the trunk shocks?

 

Will this be happening? If so im interested as well.
