I just read in AutoWeek that the '07 G sedans will have over 300HP. Nothing said about the coupes. I can't believe that Infiniti would allow the sedan to have more HP than the sport coupe.

 

i haven't heard any mention on how many ponies the '07 coupe will have BUT

patience my little grasshopper. in due time, the Coupe will have more cojones than the Sedan

 

thats probably because the redesign of the G Sedan is coming out this year and the G Coupe isn't due til next year.

 

The new g35 coupe, though there is no solid info about it, will most likely have over 300hp. The g35's closest competitor, the Lexus IS350 has over 300hp and it would be unwise especially in todays market not to match/exceed.

 

The sedan will have more hp than the coupe for a little while since the 2nd gen sedan is being released in Fall '06 and the 2nd gen coupe is not being released until Spring of '07, so it wont really be a big deal.

we don't know definite numbers and i talk to the guys from the factory when they come in. just wait till the hardtop convertible comes out as well

 

That is also the hp number that I have been hearing, so I would not be surprised if it does have that. But I wonder if that will be the hp rating for both the AT and MT. Cant wait until they release some information about it.

What they say can be taken in so many different ways. They say over 300 hp. Theoretically this could mean 301 (im being sarcastic) but you really never know. watch it be something like 304, 305... im gonna be peeeeeeeeeeeeised!
