The thread discusses noises from the dashboard and windshield area. As I get closer to pulling the trigger on a G37 sedan, I wanted to get some feedback on how bad this issue is.

I have a IS250 and it's solid (but slow) car but I'd consider the interior as very good (high quality). It does have the odd dashboard noise once and awhile likely due to temp changes. When it happens (crack!), it's then quiet for another 10 minutes or so at least, perhaps good for the day. Net/net is that it doesn't really bother me much, If it cracked/creaked continously, it would drive me nuts as I'm fussy about stuff like that.

So on the G sedan (or coupe), for those of you that have these noises, are they once awhile OR when they act up, are they going off continuously?

Any input would help me make a decision.

I don't hear any strange noises from the dash area. The windshield wipers occasionally make a bit of noise when I go over a bump, but the car is solid and quiet other than that.

 

Mine is quiet...
