When we have everything under one umbrella, will our logins work across the board?

For instance, I have an acct here and on MyG37, but not a premiere account over there.

Ideally, I'd like the two accounts merged. But if that's not possible, can I at least have this account to use on there?

Yes and no. When Infintidriver.net goes live, we will be porting over all members from Driver, Myg37, and my350z. So basically, anyone that currently has an account at one of those 3 forums will automatically have an account on infinitidriver.net.

For new members however, once you join infinitidriver.net your membership will not propagate to the other 3 forums as they will still be 3 separate forums. Make sense?

Is My350 coming over?

How are they going to feel about being under the Infiniti banner?

^Well, is InfinitiDriver to be it's own forum or what?

To me, it would make the most since to work like this:

> InfinitiDriver goes online
> Existing Accounts from My350z, G35Driver, G35Driver all become InfinitiDriver logins.
> InfinitiDriver logins work on My350z, G35Driver, G35Driver.

For example, people that are premiere members here, or have a lot of posts, high iTrader, etc... none of that carries over to the other two forums AND they have to make another account just to login. And a lot of us have had to do that just to use the marketplace over on my350z.

The obvious problem is for those of us who have made an account on 2 or even all 3 of the sites. Automatically merging those accounts could be tricky.

Yep, they are Ian in the sense that all of the members on my350 will have their accounts ported over to infinitidriver.net. It's basically the same thing we did when we created myg37.com. We had all of the members of Driver ported over to myg37 even though they were still two separate forums. My350 will still have their own forum just like we will as well.

The easiest way I can explain it is infinitidriver.net will be the same type of setup as bimmerpost. When you go to the root forum and select which model you want to peruse, it will dictate which forum you end up on.

Infinitidriver will be very similiar to what Bimmerpost is. For example, when you go to bimmerpost.com and select the 3 series, it automatically directs you over to e90post.com. Same will go for infinitidriver.net. When you go there and chose G35 Coupe, it will redirect you over here to Driver. Make sense now?

Also, when talking to IB earlier this week on the phone, they mentioned that it might be possible to purchase a Premier membership for infinitidriver.net that will be active across all three forums. More details will follow as I have more discussions with them.
