Valve Cover Replacement (DIY Video)
Valve covers started leaking, so I decided to replace them + spark plugs and made this video. This is on a VQ35HR but the process is very similar for the VQ37VHR. Hope this is helpful to anyone taking on the same project!
The main differences:
The main differences:
- No VVT or CAM Sensor on the VQ37 valve cover.
- You’ll need RTV on the front and back corners of the VQ37 when reinstalling the valve cover.
- The VQ37 has replaceable spark plug gaskets, so you can replace those without needing new valve covers if they’re in good condition.
