The first shot is hilarious... Follow the leading line of the river.. What does it lead to? I'll give you a hint, it rhymes w/ "pull grass"
Second shot.. Watch your critical focus.. The most focused part of the image is the branch above the flower. Your depth of field is very shallow.. Increase your aperture a bit.. The closer you get to a subject the shallower your depth of field will be. What lens did you use here?
Third shot.. I like the lines of this shot a lot, wish there were some clouds for a secondary interest point, but I like the gradation of the sky.. Good use of negative space.
I'm w/ Dave on the last shot.. I like the shot a lot as well, I think if you increased the contrast you'd have a great shot. The crop works in this shot, and if you counter the blown out sky w/ more contrast on the rider and horse, it'll balance out the shot more..

I love the abstract atmosphere of the shot "all rivers lead to the *** of a bull". I'll take a signed copy of that ****. My only suggestion is to maybe put a little more cow ***** into it to represent the birth of our escape.
kid... love the shots bro.

Soon... I've been helping other photographers recently more than shooting work myself.. Helped John Jiles w/ lighting on his shoot of Andy's 350Z most recently in Ft Worth for an upcoming openclutch feature..
Positioned the lights for the side profile night shot across the railroad tracks..
Positioned the lights and was sitting on the ground on the other side of the car holding the strobe at the wall in the red barn shot..
Here's the shoot..

I've got a shoot to do of my car here pretty soon for a vendor.. Just waiting on my wheels (which were confirmed in Port Long Beach finally this Monday) been 9 long months, but on the home stretch now.
Going to submit some stuff this year to mags as well of my car and others (*cough* Chris & Stephen).. Trying to get some features done for an online magazine idea that I have in the works as well.. more on that soon..
I haven't really had time to just go out and shoot random stuff like I'd like because of the little league season (coaching my oldest son's basketball and youngest son's soccer teams)
Had to drop away from the scene for a minute but I'm about to hit it hard again soon.. Mark my words..

I heard that about being away for a minute.. I have kind of been burned out on photography as of late. The wife and I went to the zoo last weekend and I didnt even take my camera. Its nice to just enjoy stuff for a change instead of taking pictures of it constantly.
Some images I'm using for class.
