well.. the nismo front is my daily bumper.. i can Fvck it up and it wont hurt my feelings.. hahaha
i have a custom show bumper that im getting made.. and i will be installing quick release pins on the bumpers so i can just swap them out if i ever need to
only reason i did this is so that i dont have to worry about fvcking up the bumper i will be showing with and to prevent the event that if im driving to the show i hit something and destroy it and then i cant show anymore

hahahah...
i always wondered if... Labo Monterrey Blue(PPG Global paint, brand code: 103883, paint code: 0031) or Lambo Orange (Orange Mic 2CT PPG Code:954165) or Lambo White (PPG CODE : 224009) or any of those are really custom? lol ... it only took me about 20 mins to find the color codes... now.. find mine hahaha
so i decided to just mix something up..
Montery Blue looks like this

but that isn't all that is done to the paint itself to get the color shifts
as youve seen my stuff get resprayed at the shop, it doesn't match because i couldn't get ahold of certain paint parts to get it to match like it originally came painted from the shop.. but its close enough for a candy paint or "custom" color in some peoples books

IMO any color you can get off a manufacturers chip book should not be considered a custom color..
even something from specialty paint companies that have it listed on their chip book.. now if you take one or two of those and blend them and make them your own somehow.. then you can say i shall consider it custom..

Candy Blue is a custom color... just more rich in depth than yours..

lmao i am hardly the custom paint king.. sorry must have me confused.. im just giving my opinion is all.. sure it might not match.. just how you had issues with the psi that it was sprayed and how it was sprayed.. only way to get your exact same color is to have the person who sprayed it first do it again even if it costs a bit more or takes alittle bit more time
custom paint king lmao... i should google that and see what pops out..

wasnt referring to you with that comment btw.. also regardless of the original painter, as stated before i was unable to get a component to precisely match my exact color w/the base/top coats of the ppg paint, so it doesn't completely match but it works for me.
yeah google that term and post what i shows curious..
