Police Look For Dark Infiniti In Fatal Hit-And-Run

Officials Thursday said Carlos Perez, a 59-year-old pedestrian killed in the hit-and-run, was likely hit by a dark-colored 2005 or 2006 Infiniti G35.
Perez, of Whittier, was crossing Alameda Street, south of East Eighth Street, when he was hit just after 3 a.m., according to Officer Bruce Borihanh of the Los Angeles Police Department.
"There is still no driver information," Borihanh said.
Authorities urged anyone with information about the hit-and-run to call Central Traffic Detective Felix Padilla or Josephine Mapson at (213) 972-1845 or 1-877-LAPD-24-7.
