Project MOM's

I will make this my official thread of my progress since i got some pics now.

This is whats going on , My mom has driven all her life and for the most part is a good driver aside from a heavy foot , guess it runs in the family . lol

However she loves trucks , you name it shes had it . Bronco , bronco 2 , jeep cherokee , Blazer , 4 Runner and last the ford explorer , ill post pics .

I told her i was sick of seeing her in that car and quite frankly i dont think its safe . it squeaks , rattles ,and has several oil leaks and issues .

So i decided to buy a car with a SR20 and fix it ,granted somthing nice ,clean stock etc. so i went looking for a P10 95-96 and found a diamond in the rough .

A 1999 G20 Black on black with 128k and a blown headgasket. Needless to say after making a few calls i jumped on it , spent my whole day on a missionn between towing and driving cross counties.

Body is 7/10 interior 8/10 and engine does not look all that bad . no sludge or anything .

My plan is to get the car fixed and wash it wax it , deep clean the interior and replace a few cracked corner lights and paint chips then give it to her on thanksgiving as a early Xmas gift .

So im doing this with NO job and on savings funds , but **** it its the Old girl and she deserved better than whats shes in .

Today i hit the U-pull it and got a few parts i needed . Im going to bring the valve cover back to life ,pics of that will be up soon .

This will be the 6th SR20 powered car ive owned in the last 10 years !

What did you buy it for? These were such good cars when they came out.
