I just got a spare wheel for 10 bucks I figured I will try my hand at it. I am not yet god at carbon fiber so my first wheel may be just one to match the stock look... But thicker and flat bottom... maybe learn how to mold it...

G35 Coupe
If anyone does this, please post some pics, would love to see how other people approach the modification of the wheel as there are many ways to skin a cat. Also as I mentioned to guitarrocker98 there is a better way to do the wheel thickening / padding vs how I did it (glue on a layer of foam). It involves making a plug and mold of a thickened wheel and using 2-part silicone rubber to re-pad a stripped wheel. It comes out much cleaner and ultimately is less work intensive when making multiple wheels. This is how it seems IGT automotive / Ivory GT was doing it based on handling one of his wheels and seeing the padding underneath....I might even have a picture, but need to look for it.

Cost for the entire thing was around 700 dollars for the entire job it comes with a full lifetime warranty so any issues def worth it adds a different element to the g35

Wrapped in blue Alcantara with stitching and center stripe
