My buddy owns a bike shop and he has been doing a lot of it and from what I see it holds up very well. It's clear coated so it's pretty solid.. I've seen this last week at the shop that has my motor and a dude had a valve cover done and it looked great. they have a lot if different designs too. Pretty wild!!!

Depends on what you want done. I was going to start a business once im out of the military. Durability is the same as the normal paint. Can cover a 360 piece. You can put different clears on the product to get it shiny or dull.

Theres a guy on here that just started up not to long ago if you pm me ill send you his sn due to the whole vendor thing. If you check out this thread he did cf headlight inserts.

^Actually there is. go to page 4 and you'll see a hydro dipped carbon fiber pattern I did on a 04 g35 coupe headlight housing. We will be launching our hydro dipping business this spring.

I actually have been doing custom headlights as a hobby for years now, and earlier this year I kept hearing the hype on hydro dipping, me and a buddy of mine invested around 8 grand on equipment and materials. Its nowhere as easy as it looks. we used to watch the youtube video and get just as hype as everyone else, but its a longer process than normal painting and a lot more prep-work. We finally have gotten everything right and are now setting up sponsorships for cars by doing CF interior panels, headlight housing, rims, spoiler lips, bumper lips, rear bumper diffusers, etc. , soon we will be spreading more info on how we can give our hydro-dipping services!

Definitely cool stuff. A shop out here in Atlanta opened up about a year ago doing this stuff. I don't know if they got big or not though
