That is a great question that my friend (a viped out q45) and I have debated that also. We thought that it came from the price of the bag setup, but heck I paid 2300 for a new UAS kit and my boy paid 1600 for slightly used UAS kit for his Q. Any DECENT coil over kit will run 1500-2000. In my opinion, ease of use is FTW. He was DEADSET on coilvers. However, even HE has switched to air once he seen my ride and rode in it. Bags are not rough if you use the right shocks (i'm on tokico d specs). I rode statik for 4 years and I will give it to the guys who dial their suspension in for it. Some road conditions are horrid for lowered cars and I got tired of "no low friendly zones" lol. Me, I just can't sit there and play with my car for hours to get a proper stance. I want stance.....I just hit a button.
