Apparently, I'm not down with forum trolling of the ATL car sites, down with the "scene", or tagging myself as hellaflush poster boy which makes me not cool .

I've been hated on because I ride air by the hellatoiletflush gang and Like I really really really give two fat ***** anyway. I rode tucked front wheels for 4 years and it is not FUN. Who likes destroyed front and rear fenders and a destroyed undercarriage?

It is so *** backwards here that a photographer attached to a certain blog ran past my car and offered a feature to a HONDA FIT that was "stanced" and "hellaflushed"

I'll be waiting on Johnnyone, he gets the first feature @IA! Hopefully all the work gets done by then

Your sedan is clean as hell. Keep it up. To each their own as far as taste goes, but why take a g35 coupe or sedan and ruin the lines of it by raising it.. I just thinking about it. I don't know what the other cars at your meet looked like, but all I know is I love your setup.

 

That's the thing, it's not the DONK riders.....it's the local guys in the "scene" and even some g35 drivers out here.

 

It it was in my current mind to change out my suspension components, I'd personally go air- but to each their own right? As I stated, I think your sedan looks great. As long as you like it, who cares.

Hell, if I could ride like that all the time I would, not just to be "hellaflush" but because I think it looks good- I just can't because it's my daily and Chicago roads here are horrible especially with my daily route I take.

People seem to always want to be in a 'scene'. As you grow older, you (may) come to realize that your ***** will eventually drop and you can decide for yourself as to what looks good for you, and not everyone else. If other people like it, cool- awesome, if not- who cares, they aren't the ones driving it.

None are really worth it. Maybe 20 vehicles in total. They all follow the same suit here. Get a Honda Civic, Fit, GSR, or a old Toyota Cressida. Then they hellatoiletflush it out. Might throw a bike rack on it or two and stickers all the way around light and bumpers.
It's horrid.

I guess it's because you have a nicer car. Maybe if you threw on a nissan skyline 350gt (not hating on those that do, just saying) maybe they'll opt you into their 'crew'.

Don't worry about the guys who will rag on you cause you have bags. If you have bags and still roll low on the daily then props to you. If you have bags and roll and 4x4 status around town then shame on you. Roll low and park lower.

To clarify the overall "scene" is typically referred to as Stance or Fitment. HF is just a segment of the Stance/Fitment scene.

 

This is the problem. They are trying to outkick their coverage.
