Acouple of reasons I chose the mustang over the 370z,g37,Evo. 1)more power for the money, 412hp for $27k before ttl, 2)I can use regular unleaded 3)I get around 26-27mpg on my 100 mile trips that I take 3 to 4 times a week. (I couldn't get more then 23 on my G, with the same conditions) 4)the Base model GT that I got is much more comfy and the car is much more roomier then the all the ones I compared to. And I'm on a 5 yr term so for the next 5 yrs I don't really care what my resale value is
Too bad you're not nearby. With that 'American cars suck' attitude I'd be happy to show you my tail lights...

Thanks for all the guys who aren't hating. My plans are to of course add a exhaust first then a some audio components, then add the boss 302 front fascia and some lemans stripes and lower the car. Then I'll get new wheels, intake and tune next summer.
^lamest stuff I've heard yet. The car got awarded best resale value in 2 door coupes class. And I also raced charger/challenger rt's in my G. Those cars weigh to much that's why they always lose. There's actually acouple of guys on the mustang forums who have more then 50k miles on their 2011 GT's and they are still running 11's with drag tires and tune.

Ok I see what the problem is.... I would have never considered ford until the new GT. You guys have look at it as if was a totally brand new car model. I still would not have bought a new mustang without this new refresh and engine. And as far as ford goes, I wouldn't even look at any other vehicles they offer besides the new f150
They're luxury sport cars dude that's why....how's the interior on the stang?

In my opinion it's 3x times better and what luxury features are missing on the 31k mustang that are on the 37k g37 journey??? I could buy the prem. Mustang, paint and wheel protection, extended bumper to bumper 5yr-100k mile warranty and add the GPS,glass roof options and I would still save money

I know this thread is old....just couldn't resist.
