what track were you at? looks like it would be a good time out there and your G sounds pretty good too


you should get a GO PRO video camera next time you go so we can really see you go around the track

 

Brainerd International Raceway in Brainerd, MN. I actually do have some GoPro footage I just havent had time to go through it. I'll post em once I do though.

with the 4th and all and a new lady in the life I've been pretty busy the past couple weeks, but I'll try and get them up this weekend. Twas my first time with it on the track so my lines arent the greatest. Average lap times of 02:10 on a 2.5mile course. Fastest RWD in time attack was a Z06 with a 01:49 lap time.

 

sounds like you're not all too far behind for your first time on the track. plus you'll get better with rollling corners and exiting when you get some more time in.

Pretty much just the one weekend that these were from. We dont have many options for open trackdays here unless you're part of a club, which there isnt much that I can join since most are vehicle specific. There are some racing schools that I am going to try and take next month and in Sept. that allow you to use your own vehicle. I have some connections with the track owner so I am going to try and talk to them about some open trackdays. We have street legal drags pretty often, so maybe I can open track during the street legal nights.

 

That SUV in the first vid looked like it was keeping up pretty good

 

looked like an srt8 and if it was... it can keep up pretty well

 

correct it was an SRT8. It blew past me right after that once we got on the straight.

 

put together a quick video of a couple track days, nothing special though.

MA Proving Grounds was an actual track day. It was my first time on the track so my lines suck.

PowerCruise is just a "cruise" the track event. You have a 100mph speed limit, single file in corners (never happens), and no drifting or stopping. I had a GTR toying with me the last few laps of PowerCruise.

And no I dont have a RHD car, I just didnt feel like flipping the video and waiting for my slow computer to render it all.
