Idle Issues After Oil And Filter Change

I have a 2003 G35 Coup, I took my car to get an oil and filter change...5 miles down the highway I passed someone while my RPMs were high and then my car died. While I was waiting for tow truck, I would turn key and car would turn on for 20 seconds, idle under 1000 RPMs and turn off. Mechanic told me my battery was dead. I replaced the batter and now the car takes a a few minutes to "get going" over 2000 RPMs and sputters and is "jumpy" while I am at a light (low RPMs). Mechanic believes I need a new "Throttle/Idle" part. Excuse my lack of "car terminology". Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Make sure the sensor on the air box is plugged in, they may have unplugged it if they checked your air filter. Other than that it is probably unrelated with the oil change.
