Do it. I switched from regular oil to Royal Purple synthetic oil. After reading reviews and how many of my friends use it, it seems promising. Even though its just oil, its a lot better.

AFTYC to quality synthetic oil....! LOL

I've never read more b.s. about switching from regular oil to synthetic. Most
of us that really care about our cars change to synthetic oil withing 1 to 3K
miles. Mobil 1 is a good choice, that seems to be what most of our members
use. Now that you're using quality oil don't forget to upgrade to a better oil
filter, either Mobil 1 or K&N. Most auto parts stores sell them but don't pay
over $10 or so, you'll be getting screwed. I order mine on line and get a
much better price plus when I buy two shipping is free....G/L Chinabean!

Gary C, where do you buy your filters from? That sounds like a good deal.

I use Pennzoil Platinum, 5 QT jug costs $19 at Walmart. Great deal on great oil, they have Mobil 1 as well but I've been liking the PP lately.
