hey guys!
Im gonna be trading my trunk w/ spoiler to one of our members for his trunk and 3rd brake light next weekend
My question is:
how to take out my trunk and the spoiler harness? is it just unplug and plug?
also is it easy to take out the 3rd brake light from the inside? or is it a lot of stuff to take out? do we need to take the rear seat out?
Also the bolts for the trunk is it easily striped? how can we avoid that? any special tool needed?
Please post if you have info on this. I would really appreciate the help!
thanks!

ok man ill help you as much as i can. first i think the bolts that hold onthe spoiler to the trunk are 10mm and no they dont strip easy unless your just tryin to be hard and use pliars, use a socket set for this, also buy some goo gone because that spoiler is held on also by a SH*T LOAD of 3m tape, which is used all around the edges of the spoiler. With that said iwould suggest using fishing line to get under all that tape applying goo goneto the line as you work your way through it all. the wing also has like plastic tabs underneath it that are somewhat into the trunk im really not sure how to explain them. i might have some pics of my wing removed ill check my files, i hope this helps a little. sorry if i rambled there.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, my bad i miss read then , but yes you just unhook the wire once you take off that cover that is on the underside of your trunk it will be pretty self explanitory.
i just traded out my trunk lid this weekend and had the same problem you had with the screws stripping out. we ended up taking the three bolts off on both sides (12 mm), that attach the hinge to the car. this was much easier than trying to get those screws off. as for taking the brake light off the back dash, i have no idea. if you are trading with another car that is the same years as yours you shouldnt have any problems, just plug and play. i traded with an '07 and i have an '05 so we had to rewire the plugs because there were two for the '05 and one plug for the '07.
