Battery died... what size?

I've been searching around for new batteries since I tried jumping my car and turned it off and it would not turn on again. What would you recommend for replacement batteries? And what Size batteries for the coupes? thanks in advance

I've heard Costco has really good batteries (their house 'Kirkland' brand).. I went there when I needed mine replaced but unfortunately they had all the ones in stock except for mine (I think it was a fitment code 8 according to the book they had hanging in that aisle) so I ended up having to buy an Energizer from the Wal-Mart next door (I needed one that day) and thankfully it hasn't let me down yet

I just replaced my battery at Pep Boys out here in East Los. Energizer brand, 84 month guarantee/2 yr replacement...$75 + $10 for the install.

how about going with a very lightweight Braille battery. not sure what size to use for a DD, but Tirerack sells these. you could knock 20lbs off your front end. soon as my battery starts to die, I'm going with one of these babies. check them out and let us know what you find out.

I have a Delco size 24F that's worked very well for me. See this thread:

I have a part time gig at Autozone and the fancy-shmancy Z-Net system says a 35 is in my car. I didn't check 03-05 so maybe there was a change over in 06 or something... Not sure, I'll have to look.

But as for quality/reliability, get the Duralast Gold (available in both 24F and 35) if you go that route. It has more CCA and CA than OE and comes with 3yr free replacement, 3yr free jumpstarts and a total 8yr warranty (years 3+ thru 8 prorated).

if it is your stock battery, you should be able to pop off a cap and pour distilled water in it and should last you a while longer.

Also got a Duralast Gold when my coupe battery pooped out.
Have used them in the past, rated good by Consumer reports.
