You will maybe get your original power back if your plugs are in bad shape. The whole opoint of these plugs is a longer service life, not really performance.

The claims made by plug companies about performance can easily be attributed to dyno error. They do like most parts manufacturers and take the high dyno with their part and the low dyno without their part and compare them. They then claim they gave the car the difference between these two numbers. The best thing you can do, to tie your mods together, is to spend the money for a ecu flash or something like the Uprev Osiris and have the car profesionally tuned.

Performance plugs are the plugs with least resistance.... ie copper and silver. But they are also the softest and last the least amount of time.

Platnium plugs are really for longevity and iriudium is usually good for boosted applications.

There are also a lot of marketing "gimmick" plugs on the market as well to avoid.
