Battery Keeps Draining
Battery Keeps Draining
My battery wont hold a charge, ive replaced twice and cant find the source of my draw.I've had this problem for a longtime now ever since i installed my supercharger. I insatlled a turboxs utec, and followed all the intructions and had it tuned by a good tuner. Ive called AAM and they have never heard of the issue. I do have the cd changer error FO, but ive left the cd player off, Ive done tests and rechecked everything i need help PLEASE! im ready to install a battery cutoff switch soon as i get the car out of storage. Thanks again
is the supercharger electric? I've heard of some systems that you can turn on and off, that could be an issue if it is.
or you can do the start the car up for 20 mins or so see where the battery is at idle (with a multimeter). turn the car off and see how quickly it drops (will fall off quickly to start usually) if it has a continual draw (voltage keeps dropping) start pulling fuses starting with the radio. and anything you know to be on. (interior lamps if you're in the car etc) until you see the drop stop
