I am not exactly sure where this question shoul dbe posted, buthere it goes.
Yesterday it was the first time I drove my G35 on the snow, I was horrified to hear something that shounded like the ABS going crazy, like a crunching metal noise that seemed to come from arround the front left wheel.
This only happens when I brake and the car starts sliding due to the snow... now, I just go tthe car and have not changed the tires on it yet, it has summer tires on so it was very bad on the snow.
I also noticed the same kind of noise coming from the same spot but not as loud, every time I start going in the mornings and the car seems to switch to the second gear, but this only happens the first time the car changes gear... i don;t hear the noise anymore when I stop and go again.
What do you guys think the problem might be?

i believe that's the ABS, which is normal.
