MANY PROBLEMS...went to stealership

just got back from the Cerritos Stealership to get a few things checked out!...

1st problem: my fuel gauge reads 3/4 after filling it up...i think its not filling up anymore
Stealership: Recommend Fuel Sending Unit/Sub sending unit/ and O Ring
Cost: $538.00

2nd problem: Radio doesnt illuminate, and does not work with the faceplate buttons
only works from the steering wheel. Also, A/C unit stays ON, and will not
will not turn off.
Stealership: Recommend Circuit Board/Audio unit per further diagnostic
Cost: $775.00

3rd problem: I notice OBVIOUS flapping sound coming from the engine when accelerating
Stealership: Test drove vehicle and didn't hear anything!

4th problem: I hear a clinking noise by rear left tire when at a cruise or 1st acceleration
Stealership: Recommend Lube rear axle spline
Cost: $180.00

5th problem: SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON, turned off as i got to the dealership
Stealership: NO codes stored in ECU at this time

6th problem: Left window comes halfway down ALL the time, have to hold the button
up for a few seconds just for it to stay up, BUT i totally forgot to tell the
service person...LOL!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TOTAL: $120.00, I thought everything was just WAAAAAAAAAYYY TOO EXPENSIVE..hopefully i can find shops to fix the problem cheaper!...LOL any suggestions?????.....

teh fuel sending unit takes 2 minutes to put in after you ahve the back seat up which can be kinda fistey to get out a pry bar makes it easier.

The radio faceplate yes that is legitmate, i have done many many of those, if you don't want to go with an aftermarekt unit you can always go junkyard looking to find what you need.

The window going halfway down, when you get it up, i'm fairly sure that is the window motor as master switches don't go to often on these cars. Thats an easy 30 minute job as well with the correct tools. no second person needed.

As far as the no codes stored in system, did you get a consult II or consult III printout for proof? as i find it hard to believe that there we no codes in the ECM stored, for the only reason as Nissan/infiniti's detection logic is insane when it comes to codes being stored, if the SES light was really on it would take 30-60 complete trips of detection logic of everything being good and that is not possible to happen when your only just driving tot he dealer and the light turned off. The only thing it could have been was a Initial start code, or a GROSS evap leak code and the ECM called it a fluke and decided that everythign was good and clicked the light off for you.

you can try to program your window motor b4 replacing it.
ask for printouts of dtc's and srt status to catch a lie.they can be cleared and say they found nothing.
the radio might be bad even after the circuit faceplate.
check the covers under the front of the car.they could make a flapping noise
take the wheels off and slide the axles back.lube them urself

sure you can try to retime the window motor VIA the limiter switch button, but 9 times out of 10 its going to come out of time and your going to do your work over agian by pulling the panel off again. riverside infiniti sells them on ebay for like 140 all day long. and its not that challanging to put in. For as long as i have worked for Nissan/Infiniti retiming windows that have the button on them is just a temp fix. ultimatly it will need a motor, save for the newer models that are all done VIA the window switch itself without removing the door panel anything 07+ aside from the coupes.
