Is this a BAD idea?

I'm having my OEM Rays powder coated this week, and I wanted to know if jacking up the G pulling the wheels and leaving it on jack stands is a bad idea?

Why would it be a bad idea?

Just make sure it's stable. The front end can be a little tricky to safely mount on stands due to the car having a unibody. The times I've had to take my front wheels off, I've supported it by the lower control arm with a jackstand.

Because if he has to ask, he might not know what stable is, or were to, or how to jack.

You wanna fight? Meet me at New Hampshire and we'll race to the death at Deadmans Canyon.

I'm kidding, obviously.

I didn't know we had any Maine Coupe drivers on here.

Thanks for your input, are the lower control arms a better place to support?

i was right on the pinch welds, thats where i lifted the g for my exhaust install too and seemed very stable, plus they're the perfect size for the arms on the lift

One more thing. Did you use a floor jack or each side at a time?

Thanks man...If i wasn't a low ranking Government employee I'd have more mods, but as it is I'm lucky to have the G. I know I'm asking a lot, but better safe than sorry. Where did you put the jack to get it up (no homo). lol
