same here, sometimes work, sometimes doesn't. Sometime could go down, but difficult to go up. I dun noe WTF is going on. I went to a shop to check , they told me the motor is broken. so i'm gonna find one and replace by myself. they told me, the labor cost like 2 hr. god damn like $120. go to hell

the regulator is what transfers the torque of the window motor into window movement.

this can sometimes be bent, stuck, frozen... motors are far more common.

If your window goes up and down easily, your motor is not broken. Try this.

Glad to help. If your window motor goes bad in the future, buy it from autozone. It comes with a lifetime warranty.

I've never had an issue with the regulator, just the motor. The price at autozone is about $175 and you get $40 back when you return the old one. It's really easy to replace. When you replace it, make sure the rubber seal between the door and the window does not have a gap. It should press against the window to prevent water from going inside the door. Water will kill a new motor in about 2-3 months. Your issue is the motor not the regulator.
