Help!!a big crack on the left flex pipe

Angry Help!!a big crack on the left flex pipe
help!!!!!!After I took my car for a oil change at the Nissan dealer, they told me the car had a big crack on the left flex pipe. I guess my questions are how it happened and how to get it fixed for cheap and how much? or should i just change the whole Y pipe? It is a 04 coupe with aftermarket exhaust on it. Thx guys, really appreciated!

those are easily damaged by debris on the roadway. are you lowered? if so, its even easier to damage...

thx,man it is lowered. How can i fix it for cheap? welding it?
