I hope this hasn't been answered already, but I can't find it through a search.

I've got a V35 sedan and the rear brake light on the parcel shelf has stopped working. I have checked it and there is no power going through it, but the is power to the connector in the boot.

I am having trouble getting to it to replace or repair, particularly getting the shelf out. The car is also fitted with the Bose system, so the sub is also in the way. I can get so far removing the seats, but don't want to force anything and break it.

I'm in Australia, and the car is a full import, so parts are a bit hard to find.

Has anyone had to do this replacement, or can someone point me in the right direction if this has already covered.

It is very time intensive to change and it is the unit itself, not just the bulb. There is a DIY somewhere in the sedan section, but I am unable to find it.
