2004 G35X problems with dashboard lights, alarm and window
Hello. I am new here and any help would be appreciated. I purchased this car 3 weeks ago. Four days ago, I drove off a curb and heard a loud bang. It was either the rim banging onto the cement because I had low tire pressure in that tire, or something under my car hit the curb. That is the only thing that happened that may have caused the following problems. Today as I was driving, I noticed every time i flick the driver side window switch up to close it, the window goes all the way up then drops halfway down and stops. It will still close but I have to hold the switch until it is fully closed. Along with that problem, when I turn my head lights on or to automatic, all the lights on my dash including the radio and temperature lights will turn off. My alarm is also starting to go off for no reason whether my doors are locked or unlocked. There might be more problems but I haven't noticed them yet.

Your window problem is caused by the limit switch in the window motor. It is a common problem and you will need to replace it.
The other electical problems will be hard to diagnose. Make sure all of the fuses and relays are good and if so, take it to a qualified tech.

i have the same issue with 2 of my windows, the 2 i had replaced when someone broke into the car 2 different times, i had a Infiniti Mechanic tell me the windows i used were aftermarket non OEM ones that either didnt have some sensor or since they were replaced i had to goto infiniti and have my ecm reset , i dont know if any of that makes sense but thats what i heard.
