I recently purchased a beautiful 06' sedan w/ 41k after driving a friends 05' sedan extensively. His 05' has 20 k.Compared to the 05', my 06' feels lighter, much less planted to the road, much more nervous suspension and handling in general. BOTH CARS ARE FACTORY STOCK, NON SPORT! Does anyone out there know if specs or parts changed for 06' because it feels like much less of a car than the 05'.

are any of the awd? if not then i believe their the same thing. u might be mentally thinking your is better.

 

Neither car is awd. I've owned and driven BMW, Lexus, Lotus and more , and am sure this is not my imagination. Thanks though.........

 

Its possible your alignment could be off...

 

no 2 other cars feel the same.
Ive experienced the same from my friends 05x 350z springs, with close to same boltons as me VS. my 06x with eibachdrop and strut bar, sways, 245F 275R staggered set up... and bolt ons...

On turns I'd throw my car anyway I like with confidence, When I drove his car First turn I had the front end sliding off road. basic suspension mods make huge difference

When I drove both in autostick, My redlines, car would feel like it doesnt stop pullin when u hit 2nd gear, On his felt like Rpms would drop to low and have to regain the pull.

I was amazed how everything was feeling so different in exactly same model cars...

If u want better planted feel, STRUT, SWAYS are the answer.
