Battery replacement? Help!
Battery replacement? Help!
I have an 04 6mt and the battery is at least 4 years old. When I leave it parked for a couple hours I can sense a slight struggle with the crank, then it'll start. I'm going to get the voltage checked...
When did you all replace your batteries?

I just replaced mine and yes you need to get a new one...mine started acting like that for a few days before it went dead and wouldn't turn the engine over at all...
mines was an 06 with the stock battery so yeah at about 4 years old...
Luckily I bummed off of my co workers AAA, otherwise I would have been screwed...
Oh yeah and this all happened on the day of the lakers/celtics final...I missed 3 quarters cause of my battery.

Get a battery and electrical check to check the CCA (cold cranking amp) of the battery and the whole starting compenents. Once you put on a new battery, also get the alternator checked to make sure its okay. If alternator is going bad, it might just drain your new battery. Batteries are ususally good for about five years and most new batteries come with warranties, such as free replacement or pro-rated replacement.
