Drivers Window

My drivers side window works weird... Pretty much i have to hit my door panel for it to start to go down but once it goes down it will go all the way down. However for it to go pack up i have to do the same but continue hitting the door panel or have to manually help it up. So i was wondering if anyone else had this problem and know on how to fix it or a cheap replacement motor for it because i know threw the dealer its going to fun me a pretty good price. Id appreciate any information you guys have for me. Thanks in Advance

K Thanks for all the input much appreciated. If theres a link on the lifetime motor that someone can post id also appreciate that because i went to the dealer yesterday and got the mechanics cost on the part and it would have ran me around 225 for an oem replacement

Actually it is very easy to do if you take the whole window out.

Steps for taking it all out:

1. Remove plastic panel.
2. Remove inner steel panel.
3. Remove bolts for window.
4. Remove window.
5. Take out window regulator assembly.

At this point your door should be practically empty. [door lock actuator will still be in there]

Steps for putting it back:

1. Pop off plastic sticky circles from inner steel panel to reveal holes.
2. Bolt regulator assembly to inner steel panel.
3. Put steel panel back in.
4. Put window in.
5. Bolt window through the holes in inner steel panel. (you will need to operate window to align it to the holes.
6. Put sticky circles back on to cover the holes.
7. Put plastic panel on.

These steps are abstract, so just keep them in mind and you will figure it out using the window motor DIY. I'll do a DIY anyways because I need to clean my window. The guy who took the tint off did a ****ty job, so I need to get rid of the glue at the bottom. That will require me to take the whole window out. Remind me to do a DIY if you don't see it in the DIY section.

My window was stuck down also. This summer when the garage got really hot inside. The window started to work again and worked all summer. Its cooling off now and window is acting up again. Looks like a new motor is in order. Infiniti should be replacing these things for free even if warranty is up.

I had bought the window motor from O'riles and with in two weeks it was burnt out and ended up destroying the window regulators. I did install it correct too, I was told I didnt time it right or something. Just something to be aware of...
