car wont turn over

Angry car wont turn over

tryed to unlock my car with keyfob,wouldnt unlock, used key in lock, tryed to start car...nothing, battery ok, was told that its a theft deterent, if key used in door lock, it shuts down ignition...any one share my experience?...thanks in advance for any help..

What? Who the heck told you that? Using your key in your door lock will not disable or shut down your ignition. I assume you have a G35 with the chip in your key? Do you have an automatic? Is the steering wheel turned to one side where it blocks you from cranking the engine? Sometimes you have to turn your steering wheel the other way to allow the key to turn to the 4 position (where it cranks the car).

Do you have any lights on the dash? You did not include enough information for anyone to help you. What year and model is your car, etc...

+1 more info. is there any lights did it make any noise when you tried to start it? how do you know the battery is good

sorry guys... 03 coupe 6mt...no lights on the dash...battery tested 12.74 volts.... apparently some knucklehead!..i never heard of that, thought i had missed the boat!..thanx..i ll keep investigating..

did you use a load tester on the battery or just a volt meter?

Could be batt connections/cables, I would do a quick visual and wiggle the largest wires on both ends including the ground. There is a good chance of finding somthing

thank you all for ur input....found the problem, in fact my battery WAS dead!...source was my power window motor was stuck..killed my battery.. thanx again for all the help
