Undercarriage Ideas
I have searched the forum for undercarriage ideas, All I can find is GT Spec braces, and sway bars...
I Would like to know if anyone has actually fabricated a full aerodynamic undercarriage panel system.
I've been considering making a full system. Especially since the engine undercarriage area's plastic around the oil pan tends to "flap" down with air speed and jiffy lube's are lazy and try to bend the plastic instead of removing a few screws and not bending stuff out of the way.
If no one has done this, I guess I'll be making a D.I.Y. soon
(First need to plan on a bit and perhaps do some poor mans wind tunnel testing, check costs on material and weight savings/adding.)

There has been one made out of aluminum. Its a rare jdm piece. Looks really good if i do say and i plan on buying one since my plastic was never attached right when my kit was put on and flew off.

I see, this is exactly what I had in mind as far as construction... but now it needs some tweaks

Here are some ideas:
The front piece will have small cut-outs to divert air coming from the engine bay down along with any fluids that may be introduced in the event of rain. This will further assist with "Zero-Lift".
Then I'd like to seal off the undercarriage completely like this Enzo:

and proceed to make a functional and not fugly Diffuser. like either of these two:
OEM F430

Custom Evo user

I'm doing some studying about downforce and the actual dynamics of it

Hey now you just asked for if there was one lol. One point though if your going to make this to mass produce for others you need a way to simplify it and make it look good.

I'll make a prototype first perhaps out of aluminum. and then aim to make a full CF undercarriage.
