IPDM Fan Radiator relays Location??

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi everyone,
My radiator fans wont stop either engine hot or cold. I think I need to check the relay which is behind the battery, within the IPDM box. I opened it but then I couldn't tell which one is radiator relays.....could someone please point out for me, I really appreciate it.

The fan relays are the three large ones in the middle of your photo. The middle relay is #1, the left hand relay is #2, the right hand relay is #3. If you AC is on the fans will run. The fan high/low/off conditions are explained in the serivce maunal page ec-525. The fan relay wiring is page ec-530. The IPDM E/R outline and terminal drawing is page pg-25.
These page numbers are from the 06 coupe manual, Im not sure what model yours is but it looks the same.

Check relay #2 because that is just a redundant Ground relay, 1 and 3 are from your WT sensor to kick the fan on and your AC. Are your fans running on high or idle low?

these fans are running high.. someone told me just find some relays from the 350Z and replace them instead of buying a whole kit.

SAC2904,

I have the same problem: fans won't shut off after they've been turned on. What was the fix for your problem? I see that this is an old post...
